It analyses and compares the onsets and decays of the guide and overdub and then uses time—stretching and compression to bring the waveforms into line. So, if you are overdubbing or recording multiple takes, you can use one performance to be the guide track for all those others. Melodyne should I say more? This will be the end of my 28 year relationship with Cakewalk. Another function that has been present since the latest updates is Mix Recall, which is an incredibly useful tool to compare different mixes with a single click. As a fan of a well-turned and apposite phrase, though, I'll single this out. For a guy who has been using cakewalk since 1996. So dig in and learn to sculpt your sound like a true sonic artist. If so, this is the video tutorial collection for you. Once this period is over, you have two options: you stick with what you have so far and continue working like that; or you pay upfront for the next 12 months at a special rate to continue benefiting from updates and new features. It's nice to be able to tweak it and only have displayed the buttons you actually need.
